State & Federal Tax Credits
Hawaii State Tax Credit
Hawaii’s Renewable Energy Tax Credit (Act 240) provides a State Tax Credit for Renewable Energy Systems installed after July 1, 2006. (Credit available “Per System” “Per Year”)
• Single Family Residential Property: 35% of installed cost or $5,000, whichever is less.
• Multi Family residential Property: 35% of installed cost or $350 per unit, whichever is less.

Federal Tax Credit
Available for systems that are "placed in service” between Jan 1, 2009, and Dec 31, 2016.
• Residential Tax Credit: 30% of installed cost.
