If your home has a south facing roof (give or take 35 degrees), a flat roof, or sits on a lot with a section of land with a clear view of the south, solar power is an easy upgrade to your property. The average 3,000 square foot home requires 500 square feet (15×30 feet, the size of an average living room) of photovoltaic cells to power all your family’s energy needs. And our optional compact panels can shrink that to 400. The only additional equipment needed is wall space inside or outside your house to mount a sleek, backpack-sized power processor.
